What is Viton?
Viton is a synthetic rubber and fluoropolymer elastomer used in O-rings, seals and other moulded products. Genuine Viton® is manufactured from 100% pure fluoroelastomers and is certified with the Viton® certificate.

ERIKS Viton oil seals are tested thoroughly in several environments (heat resistance, compression, cold and fuel) to measure influence on:
- tensile strength
- elongation
- hardness
- tear strength
- special gravity
- compression set
Viton seal properties: heat resistance
Viton seals are well known for excellent heat resistance. ERIKS has tested them at 250°C for 70 hours, and they performed perfectly. We will make sure your seals have an optimal life span.
