Before the rubber moulding process is started, a moulding design is created by one of our experienced engineers. 

Creating a rubber prototype 

Once the rubber moulding is designed, a prototype can be created by using 3D printing. The advantage of 3D printing is that a rubber 'sight and fitting model' can be created and delivered to you within a day. If required this prototype can be used to test the product to ensure it fits your application.

In the past, creating a rubber moulding prototype cost between € 300 and € 1000 and took over 4 weeks to deliver. If changes to the rubber moulding design had to be made, this was another expensive and time-consuming process. Nowadays, by using 3D printing technology we can produce rubber models in just a few days, saving weeks on production and delivery time.
