Cleanroom supplies

Different industries like the pharmaceutical-, semiconductor- and food industry, need a clean environment for quality and purity reasons. For that kind of industries we offer our own cleanroom supplies.

The goal of cleanroom supplies

Many industries are focussing more and more on the awareness of purity. The goal for that is to prevent technical components from being the cause of pollution. That could slow down or interrupt processes.

Where is pollution coming from?

Pollution is adding contaminants into the natural environment. They can cause disturbances to chemical substances or energy. There are different sorts of pollution. In this case, pollution can originate from visible or invisible airborne solid particles. Chemicals and particulates are released into the atmosphere. Common gaseous pollutants include carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and nitrogen oxides produced by industry and motor vehicles. This kind of pollution must be avoided in all industries.

Why use a cleanroom?

Cleanrooms are keeping the level of pollution under a specified limit. The definitions for that standard are embedded in guidelines. Pollution is mostly caused by personnel, used material, packaging, buildings, air and machinery.

In-house cleanroom supplies

ERIKS is able to prevent pollution thanks to its own cleanroom. We can clean hoses, seals, plastics and valves by making them dustfree and pack them in the most clean way. Of course we provide that under the best circumstances. The current norm for the industry is ISO 14644-1. Within this norm Eriks uses ISO class 7 (also known as class 10,000) for her cleanroom.
