Elastomers (of rubber compounds) for drinking water applications

The demands and requirements on products for drinking water are understandably extremely high. It's imperative that absolutely no impurities can leak into the water flow. therefore our rubber compounds must not in any way contaminate or affect the water. The requirements for rubber materials that come in contact with drinking water are different in every country. That’s why you have to deal with many different approvals and certification schemes for every country.
