Viton seal material

ERIKS uses Viton seal material in O-rings, seals and other moulded goods. Viton is a synthetic rubber that ERIKS uses to guarantee quality and safety for you.

What is Viton seal material?

Viton seal material is a synthetic rubber and fluoropolymer. Genuine Viton® is manufactured with 100% pure fluoroelastomers and is certified with the Viton® certificate, granted by DuPont Performance Elastomers.

Our Viton seal materials are tested thoroughly in different environments (heat, cold, compression and fuel resistancy) to measure influence on:
  • Tensile Strength
  • Hardness
  • Elongation
  • Tear Strength
  • Special Gravity

For which applications can I use Viton?

Viton seal material can be used for hundreds of applications and in different markets. It’s very likely that the tubes that are under the hood of your car are made of Viton. Other branches in which Viton seal materials can be found are: pharmaceutical, food and beverage, marine and chemical applications.

Custom made Viton seal material products at ERIKS.

In addition to our 2000 standard products, it is also possible to produce a product that is specified to your needs and standards. We manufacture these products in close cooperation with our customers to make sure that we always meet or exceed their needs. To realize this, we step in at the earliest stage of your development process. We create prototypes for different applications and we test these prototypes until they’re perfect.
