Rapid prototyping 3d printer

Advantages of 3D printing

Creating a rubber moulding prototype costed between € 300 and € 1000 in the past, and took over 4 weeks to deliver. If changes to the rubber moulding design had to be made, it was again an expensive and timely measure. Nowadays, by using technology of a rapid prototyping 3D printer we can produce rubber models in just a few days, which saved weeks of production and delivery time.

Custom solutions with 3D printing

If our natural rubber products are not a perfect fit for your application we can create a custom solution for you. In just a few days we create a fitting model by using Rapid Prototyping (3D printing technology).

Creating with rapid prototyping 3d printer

Once the rubber moulding design is approved, a prototype is created by using 3D printing. The advantage of 3D printing is that a rubber 'sight and fitting model' can be created and delivered to you within a few days. This prototype is used as a tryout to test the product in practice and to ensure it fits into your application.

How can ERIKS help me with rapid prototyping 3D printer?

ERIKS wants to help you with designing and developing your product at the earliest stage. We can assist you with this in the following ways:

  • Co-engineering: we will help you create a design that fits your needs.
  • 3D printing: if you have the knowhow to make a drawing that is 3D-printable ready, we can do the execution of your idea.
  • Rubber prototypes: if you don’t have the expertise to make a 3D-printable ready document, it is possible to attach a drawing and we will do the rest.

Prototyping at ERIKS

There is nothing we can’t do at ERIKS. That’s why testing your prototype for a very small or a very large number of extrusion profiles is not a problem for us. This prototyping can be done within an hour, thanks to our 3D-printing technology. Contact us and let us know what challenges you are facing with your applications or leave us your question and contact details at our ASK ERIKS form.
