How does rubber prototyping at ERIKS work?
With the help of 3D-prototyping, your product (idea) can be realized and tested. Before 3D-printers existed, every time a new product had to be tested, a mould had to be made. These moulds can cost up to € 1000 and the delivery time can take 4-6 weeks. When the products that came out of the mould did not solve the problem, a new mould has to be made. When in bad luck, prototyping of a new product could take months and thousands of euro’s, but not anymore.
